DAY 1
Arrival at Larnaca Airport. On arrival at the airport meet assist & transfer to the Hotel of your choice in Lemesos ( Limassol ).
DAY 2
Full Day Tour to Lefkosia (Nicosia). The capital of Cyprus. Our first stop is the Archbishopric and the Cathedral of St. John, housing some outstanding frescoes. A short drive past the Liberty Monument and the Venetian Walls brings us to the Cyprus Archaeological Museum. Here you will be shown the collection of Cypriot Antiquities and art treasures. Lunch will be taken at Laiki Yitonia, a 19th Century quarter with houses, shops and tavernas. We then continue on to the village of Lefkara known for its silverware and intricate handmade lace, known as “Lefkaritika”. Overnight at the Hotel in Lemesos.
DAY 3
A day in Lemesos on your own. Spend a day exploring the town. Overnight at the Hotel in Lemesos.
DAY 4
Full Day Tour to Paphos. On route we pass by Aphrodite's Rock. Just outside Paphos at the village of Yeroskipou we visit the Byzantine Church of Agia Paraskevi, one of the only two churches in Cyprus with five domes. Arriving in Paphos we first visit the Tomb of the Kings carved out of subterranean rock. We then drive past the Catacomb of Agia Solomoni and St. Paul's Pillar where the Apostle was bound and lashed. We then pass by the Fort and we also visit the Odeon Amphitheater. We will also visit the Church of Chrysopolitissa. Next stop will be the famous Paphos Mosaics where we stop and see the colourful mosaics of the House of Dionysos. Overnight at the Hotel in Lemesos.
DAY 5
A day in Lemesos on your own. Spend a day relaxing at your Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel in Lemesos.
DAY 6
Full Day Tour to Troodos Mountains. Travelling through the mountain villages, this tour takes you to the highest point on the Island - Mount Olympus - standing 1,952 meters above sea level. We then drive onto Throni Peak to see the tomb of Archbishop Makarios III, first President of the Republic of Cyprus. From there we will visit the Island's most famous monastery, Kykko, where Makarios was a novice. On the return we shall pass by the popular village of Platres and finally we also visit the traditional village of Lania. Overnight at the Hotel in Lemesos.
DAY 7
A day in Lemesos on your own. Spend the day doing any last minute shopping. Overnight at the Hotel in Lemesos.
DAY 8
Depart for Home. Transfer to Larnaca Airport for your flight back home.
