DAY 1
MADRID AT LEISURE. You will be met and transferred to the cuzzo hotel, where your tour Director will be available to assist with sightseeing advice in this capital created virtually from scratch in the 16 th century . This evening meet your fellow travelers for a welcome drink.
DAY 2
MADRID–BARCELONA. This morning we follow the arid plains of castile. After passing gudalajara we follow the jallown river valley which is dotted with mudjear. Towers, survivors domination in spain.Entering aragon, wearrive in the city of zargoza with its cathedral – our lady of pillar.Then we continue into catalonia, for another language and cultre, to reach the Mediterranean port o Barcelona, one of the most avant – grade cities in Europe.Our two night stay is at the Melia Barcelona Hotel. Tonight we enjoy a highlight dinner with wine and entertainment, and visit all of spain in one park at the Paebo Espanol.
DAY 3
BARCELONA SIGHTSEEING. Barcelona was host to the Olympic Games in 1992 and a view of the new complex is just one exciting feature of our locally guided tour. We also visit the old gothic quarter where we see the ancient cathedral . then we drive along the elegant avenues to the famous Rambas with its open –air markets and café , before admiring Gaudi's extraordinary sagrda faamila church , about which opinion are so strongly divided. Finally, to Montjuic hill for a panoramic view of the city harbour.
DAY 4
BARCELONA – VALENCIA. First to the nearby ‘cava' ( Spanish chapange) wine cellars, where we are taken on a guided tour . Then to Penniscola to to view the sae laped castle used in the film ‘ El Cid ‘ Finally, past orange and lemon groves to Valencia, where our oriental tour shows us the 14th century city gates of serranos and cuarate. Several other rthing to see there. Tonight we stay at the attractive Husa Reina Victoria hotel situated near the city center.
DAY 5
VALENCIA GARNADA. We pass through the safely waving palm forest of elche and then pass the field of saffron and peppers in Murcia. We drive amid the suprb scenery of the sierra Nevada with mountains views on all sides, as we cross the capital of the morrish kingdom of spain .
DAY 6
GRANADA – SEVILLE. Today we return to the Mediterranean traveling along the costa del sol, past Marbell, to climb into the sierras and Ronda , its spectulsr gorge . we enjoy the views from the Puente Nuevo bridge, before driving on to Seville , capital of Andulicia and one of the most charming cities in soain.Our home for next two nights is Zenit Hotel.
DAY 7
SEVILLE SIGHTSEEING. Seville has distinct character and presence which our local guided unfolds for us. The massive 15 the century cathedral is the burial place of chistopher Columbus and is enriched with the spoils of the new world Nearby is the Girlad tower, a masterpiece of Morrish elegance.We also see the Alcazar and the santa cruz quarter , with it flower deked wrought iron balconies. This area is also known for its rich tradition of cottage industries.To end our day , we enjoy a relaxing cruise along the gaudalquivir under the spectular new bridge of the expo site.
DAY 8
SEVILLE – MADRID. We set off early this morning, driving along the valley of the river Gaualalquivir, to stop in Cordoba, perhaps the most perfectly preserved Morish city in spain. We cross the famous bridge and visit the magnificient Mezquita , an 8 th century mosque with 850 colums and also Christian church built inside it.On our back to Madrid , modern capital of Spain . Our two night stay is at agumar hotel , located near the prado museum.
DAY 9
MADRID SIGHTSEEING. In 1560 Phillip II removed his court from Valladolid to be near the center of the country, and resut was Madrid. This morning we enjoy sightseeing tour along the novel avenues to see Plaza de Espana and status of Cervant, author of Don Quixote. We continue past Cibeles Fountain and parliament, and cross the puerta del sol , geographical center point of spain. Tonight , why not join a farwell dinner in the heart of the old twon & end memorable tour.
DAY 10
MADRID. Our tour ends today with a transfer to Madrid Airport.
